Kathy Weykamp

Kathy is a planning and design professional with more than 30 years of experience leading complex planning, entitlement, and implementation projects across the United States and internationally.

She currently serves as Director of Operations at Edgewater Resources, where she specializes in grant strategy, application, and administration for port, marina, and recreation projects. In the last five years, Kathy has led successful applications resulting in more than $26 million in grant awards and has contributed to projects representing nearly $50 million in total funded value. She manages the full grant lifecycle — from identifying opportunities and aligning community goals, through writing and submission, compliance, and post-award administration. Her work supports clients including municipalities, port authorities, private owner/operators, and public agencies that advance planning and construction initiatives.

Prior to her current focus on grants, Kathy spent decades delivering large-scale planning and design projects, including master plans and development designs for the Olympics, university and healthcare campuses, and mixed-use transit-oriented developments.
