Our planning, design, and engineering work has resulted in over $100 million in marine and waterfront projects constructed or currently bidding within the last five years, giving us extensive expertise in permitting, cost estimating, and construction oversight to see project visions through to reality.

As lifelong boaters and marina owners ourselves, we understand all aspects of marina design and operations from start to finish. Our design process often begins with market analysis and financial feasibility to help our clients make better decisions about what to build, and our experience with permitting and community engagement helps us work through the entitlement process efficiently. As we are leading the writing of the next edition of ASCE Manual 50, Planning & Design Guidelines for Small Craft Harbors (the standard manual of marina design in the United States), our clients can be sure we have the technical expertise to deliver safe and durable marinas.

Our team is at the leading edge of coastal engineering and living shoreline design, creating innovative and award-winning design solutions that protect shorelines and infrastructure while utilizing natural currents to improve water quality, support the movement of aquatic species, and direct sediments either away from facilities to reduce dredging requirements or towards shore to provide natural beach nourishment. Our team utilizes five decades of experience, supported by computer-numeric and physical modeling to test, refine, and implement the next generation of coastal structures.
